Amen to that!

I like your canal works, too, Chris.

I totally agree to that smile..I love the long shadows and the (morning?) light. Wonderful scene. I love your locks.
Chris: We have things called hills here in the UK Astrid, without locks all the water would run downward to the sea

Well, that's what I always hope for. A fine viewpoint and I like the light. I don't recognise the scne, though; I assume it's to the east of the "usual" view of the lock at Bradford on Avon.
Chris: This was taken at Widcombe in Bath
Have you been watching that television doctor again Tiff?
Chris: Yes I have Chad
Lol at Bill.
Chris: I nearly fell off my chair when I read his comment

I like to think of you gaining health on this canal, Chris
Chris: Indeed so Lisl, walking along the towpath can be definitely health giving
Heard a newly released study yesterday that says exercise has no bearing on health. I am hoping that is a bunch of bonk! Very pretty shot.
Chris: By studying the longevity of W J Phillips (no relation) we will be able to test this theory to destruction

Seems to me the local is uphill. Would be good to go downhill afterwards.
Chris: A short rise from one level of water to another Louis

What lovely countryside to be enjoying a walk in
Chris: More or less in the middle of Bath too Anne
Nice place for a walk methinks.
Chris: Lots of people both walk and cycle along the towpath Brian

There is evidence, according to the posh newspapers that I read, that an excess of exercise can actually increase one's weight because the body re-adjusts the metabolism rates that it normally uses.
Chris: OMG - that is why I am now in excess of 20 stone!
As long as you don't overdo it smile
Chris: Oh absolutely Tom
