That is a seriously large infestation, Chris. Are they waiting patiently on the platform to catch a train to somewhere that bikes like to visit?
Chris: They wish to go to bike heaven Ray
Love that! It looks like our University on a spring day!
Chris: This is the main railway station in Bristol Elizabeth. Cycling, as you can see, has rather taken off around here over the past decade

They have obviously done a good job in Bristol, getting people onto their bikes
Chris: I think they have rather fatuously called the place a cycling-city Lisl
That is a lot of bikes.....imagine trying to find yours amongst that lot
Chris: Indeed so but I would choose walking over cycling every time
Oh look at that Tiff, it's bikeland, have we gone all Hollandaise in this country? You could have kept this for Bike Friday. What a scene in Temple Meads.
Chris: We are pretending to be Dutchlanders Chad but it's a kick in the hillocks to those out on the polder on their bikes
That is amazing. Are they rent-a bikes?
Chris: People ride them to & from the station

Its good to see some many people have taken to bikes for the commute to the station. We could do with a bigger bike shed at the Mad House; 12% of us cycle to work.
Chris: Which 12% of you cycles?
There's a lot of bikes lined up there, but the highlight of course is the lovely arch through which you have taken the picture.
Chris: The station, although not a Brunel original, is a joy Brian
Quite remarkable for England.
Chris: We are changing. One day you will start speaking Dutch, whether you want to or not

Looks as if there has been a bit of Dutch influence here
Chris: Gradually creeping up on us Anne, a decade ago there would be very few bikes here
Tiny bicycles...
Chris: Noo - big building Larry!
Could be Amsterdam!
Chris: Shows how far we've come over the years I suppose Tom
This is well framed through the wonderful stone arches Chris... there are a lot of bikes at the station... and so many people helping to save out planet... good for them....petersmile
Chris: Thank you kindly Peter
