Can you explain more about this image? How does the red suited fellow relate to the tale?
Chris: This is Mr Punch of Punch and Judy who used to appear on the beach at Weymouth, a south coast seaside resort, Jacquelyn

I have never seen such a smart Punch, Chris
Chris: I must have seen him in action during childhood trips to Weymouth Lisl
it's very nice picture
Chris: I am obliged to you
I remember seeing Punch and Judy at Exmouth when I was a kid. I hated it
Chris: I couldn't really see the point either
Punch and Judy is an interesting story with a long history Tiff, as I'm sure you know. I was always fascinated when seeing it as a child.
Chris: I was fascinated but didn't really like it. Actually it is a thing we could have invented with a crocodile, sausages and a baby amongst the cast
I remember Punch an Judy on TV.
Chris: But never on the beach I guess Mary

"That's the way to do it". I'm surprised that such gratuitous violemce is still tolerated in this day and age. I like the selfie on the right.
Chris: Gratuitous violence, crocodies, sausages & baby battering - how did that lot come about??
Like you I will have seen Punch and Judy on the beach at Weymouth as a child, I wonder whether it was this one.
Chris: Probably it was Brian
If there is one thing I can't stand it's Punch and Judy...I have never understood the appeal/fascination.
Chris: Nor me Frank, it appears demented
Is that the original Mr. Punch on the left? smile
Chris: It might be John Cowper Powys Tom
