a fascinating bundle of vertical lines and blocking views that are so typical for a metropole like Liverpool (?)... - in any case we are not in Bath.
Chris: We are certainly not in Bath Philine; this is Glasgow

It would seem that the builders of this location (are we still in Liverpool?) seem to have bought a job lot of little tower things to stick on their buildings. It makes for a fine sight in a city building sort of way.
Chris: Glasgow not Liverpool. I was surprised how much of the place was still intact given its history in the 20th century

Great viewing point.
Chris: Yes - from the top of a hill
i like your vantage point. and that's a lot of domes and spires, Chris
Chris: Each with their own hidden history Ayush: thank you
Interesting to read that this is Glasgow, a place I once travelled through to the Clyde ferry terminal at Gourock back in the 50's, otherwise I don't know the place at all.
Chris: It was a far nicer place than I anticipated Brian
Yes it is! So different from The Countryside.
Chris: A great contrast Mary
A fine shot, Chris - quite an architectural mix, isn't it?
Chris: Hugely so Tom, I guess a lot of things have happened here over the centuries
you framed the city of Glasgow from a wonderful point of view Chris... Penny and i spent three days there when we toured Scotland many years ago...
i got lost about ten times...
it's a good thing that they have taxis....petersmile
Chris: There's nothing like wandering around in a strange place like Glasgow Peter, you never know what's round the next corner
