Is that a sheep or a hind, Chris?
Chris: A good question but for the purposes of this blog it is a sheep, a tribute to the abilities & inclinations of Mr A Rolfe from Greater Scumsville..
The lamb before the slaughter?
Chris: Could be Larry..

Oh, this sheep could make my day - where did you find this relief?
Chris: In Bath Abbey (I think) Philine

Rather fine, Chris
Chris: I am obliged 2 U, O Wondrous Being
I love the smoothness and excellent work by this sculptor. The little lamb looks like it has a swollen, red knee.
Chris: I think this is 18th century carving and it still looks good
Baaaaa too many sheep on shutterchance.
Chris: You old goat
SC is fast turning into Cats, Dogs and Sheep on Saturdays, I will have to review my archives as I don't possess any of those creatures to take photos of!
Chris: I suggest you take pictures of these animals when you come across them rather than taking it all too seriously Brian

Now there a dear little thing to have living in a corner of the kitchen ready to greet you after a hard day. It has a find head but I think the sculptor got a bit fed up when it came to the body.
Chris: Well he's long departed so I'm afraid we can't ask him Alan
