A SLIGHT ADJUSTMENT

The Admiral finds reason to add yet one more medal to his collection.

This time it is for valiantly helping Mrs Admiral to find whatever it is she has misplaced in her handbag

Maybe she is looking for her good behaviour, sometimes that is hard to find.... Great shot here, did you end up helping out too?...
Chris: I hope she has found her good behaviour Astrid, she needs to calm down a bit now that she is middle aged..
As we all know, a lady's handbag is usually a mystery to men! smile
Chris: You can tell that from the Admiral's body language Ginnie..
Real men carry purses...smile
Chris: I've got a wallet and a purse Larry
Bathbizarreness! ( New word....smile )
Chris: Thank you for that Frank, we'll put it in the next dictionary

"...and I distinctly remember instructing you to bring the house keys, as I have no pockets in which I might carry mine!"
Chris: I suppose he could always keep things under his hat..
What a cute moment to catch!!
Chris: Another day on the streets Elizabeth..

a wonderful scene from Jane Austen' times you did capture here. I hope she didn't loose her garter.
Chris: I hope so too Philine but the Admiral is there to help, albeit reluctantly
Probably looking for her mobile
Chris: Wants to know what the grandchildren are up to today..

Knowing what some women have in their handbags, there is probably the entire British fleet. I'm sure OBEs and MBEs have been awarded in recent years for similar acts of gallantry.
Chris: Of course they have. From the look on his face I suspect he also has a long service medal too..

Well, I must say these look pretty good in their get-ups
Chris: When we do our next walk I think we should dress like these two Lisl
He looks totally unhelpful, looking on wondering what all the fuss could be. Old outfits weren't too easy to manage it seems Tiff.
Chris: He isn't like you & me Chad, he finds women to be totally baffling & rather strange
With some women's purses that could be a big job.
Chris: A very big one Mary..

My mother had things to say about men digging around in a girl's handbag. Creepy was one of those things. But then, what can one expect of men wearing long stockings smile
Chris: We will not venture into the sphere of Freud Louis
Following on from Ray's comment just where did men in those clothes used to keep all the stuff without pockets?
Chris: I think they had servants Brian
He has his uses then
Chris: Just a few Janet
the Admiral seems to be quite charming... taking care of his lady Chris....petersmile
Chris: That indeed seems to be the case Peter
They really are nuts about history in Bath, aren't they?
Chris: Yes they are Tom, and some are just nuts..
