THE GATHERING

Sometimes what you find in Bath defies description. I am familiar with the Legionaire but the others I had never seen before, or indeed since I took the image..

what a great shot and I think you are not even surprised anymore what you see and who you meet in Bath.
Love the phone between the belt of the Oriental man..
Chris: I didn't see the phone Astrid. I'll give him a call to see how he's getting on today!
Isn't Bath a mysterious place Bill? Great capture!
Chris: Everything's a mystery Richard
Sorry, I meant to say Chris!

Ray might know more about those rituals. In any case, we are in Bath!
Chris: Where else Philine??
Is this to commemorate the peace treaty signed between the Romans and the Japanese Tiff?
Chris: Well it must be that Chad
Clearly you live in a world-class city, Chris...which means you can be surprised by something every day! I love it for you.
Chris: That is very kind of you Ginnie

A mix of cultures is the only thing that seems certain. I don't recall hearing of the meetings of the Romans and Japanese in my school history lessons; perhasp it was one of those times I had to spend outside of the Headmaster's study.
Chris: You are not alone in being unable to detect any connection here
I think these are very important people and they have a Roman Gladiator as a bodyguard. That is not that unusual is it?
Chris: Err...no
Perhaps they were visiting the Honda factory at Swindon and got lost?
Chris: Frankly I very much doubt that

That's a bit mind boggling really ... it all certainly seems to happen in Bath smile
Chris: Maybe if you trawled the streets of Lancaster you might find something similar Anne
If I ever come to Bath again, and I hope I do, I think I will look so ordinary I will be completely out of place.
Chris: You will stick out a mile Brian
There must be something in the water there, Chris.
Chris: Definitely Frank..
