photoblog image THE HALLWAY

THE HALLWAY

These are the works of a certain Do Ho Suh, a Korean born artist. The sculpture is a representation of his apartment corridor and staircase in his New York apartment made of coloured cloth. It was displayed in Bristol Museum and was extremely impressive.

At last Art that I can appreciate. All those stuffy old paintings do nothing for me but this is far more appealing. I especially like the stairs.
Chris: I thought the whole darn thing was inspirational: simple but effective
How impressive it is to see the work that comes from some people's minds. I find it inspiring.
