Animal-friendly Eddie...
Chris: Bedminster's finest coffee house Ray
The dogs sculpture is funny.
Chris: Bizarre isn't it
Looks like the bloke outside needs coffee urgently. Love the dog thing above which is bizarre
Chris: I thought the combination of those two things together was worth recording

What is about the man at Eddie's Coffee Lounge - I hope "nobody did something into his coffee" (German phrase to describe a bad deed)? And Bill is right - and the Kebab shop has been closed - a really bizarre image!
Chris: This is Bedminster in Bristol Philine: I am going there today, in fact, to see my Chinese herbalist

You picked the right spot. Great B&W...
LOVE the dog and the monkeys.

Chris: I wonder what the history of the dog & monkeys is Astrid?
The coffee is worth it (surely!) for the sculpture above its locale. I'd try it because of that alone!
Chris: Next time I'm in the area I intend to become a customer Ginnie
New occupants in interesting old buildings
Chris: Buildings of character from the look of it Martin
What a shot to look at and wonder about! I'd love a shot of the sculpture. The dog is carrying a bag of bones and ?. There are pups on it's back, then cats? and then perhaps monkeys. I would love to know the meaning.
Chris: So would I Mary..

Is it any good? One of my delights were trying the various coffee shiops on holiday always keen to investigate the cakes especially. Two or three times, though, I went to Starbucks as I knew I would be assured of hassle-free wifi. I do like the balancing dogs here.
Chris: I will try this place next time I visit the area. I am so glad you are back at the helm, the world already seems a safer place..

Great picture - what an amazing bit of wall art
Chris: I aught to ask about its history Anne
Like most other people I find that device above the door very interesting.
Chris: Well I've never seen anything like it before Brian..

Love it, Chris.

I got up to see the lunar eclipse, spent an hour ish outside 2.45 - 3.50 am. Got it before it went red then the clouds came across so no red moon on my camera!
Chris: After all that effort too Pauline!
