A lovely illustration of "light streaming in", Chris.
Chris: I had to twiddle it a bit Ray but not too much to obtain the effect
Nice bit of light Chris

I love the light streaming in with the reflections of the glass windows - a wonderful, spiritual atmosphere! I never heard the name Dore Abbey, surely in Wiltshire. Were there murals in former times?
Chris: Noo Philine, Dore Abbey is in Herefordshire!

I must confess never to having heard of Dore Abbey so had to Google for it. I like the stonework and the shadows for the leaded windows.
Chris: A wonderful place in the heart of unspoilt Herefordshire

Lovely picture, I particularly like the shadows in the window
Chris: Taken late in the afternoon a week or so ago Anne
Those walls look about a meter thick!
Chris: Were they not so I suspect the place would collapse Tom
Very lovely shot of the decaying window wells - as others' have said - the light is beautiful!
Chris: Gorgeous isn't it Elizabeth
The sunlight gives the old place new life.
