Hey! Did you sneak into Arizona and not tell me! smile Some wonderful species here, Chris - echinocactus & mammalaria?
Chris: These were all captured at the botanical gardens in Bristol Elizabeth. I do not know the names of the varieties

Be cautious- but to look at it is not forbidden! I think RT has not understand the symbolic meaning of these plants. In German also a person can be a 'prickly cactus' like yourself, Chad and - in particular RT!
Chris: We say "prickly" to describe someone likely to have mood swings or suddenly lose their temper Philine

In German a 'prickly person' is provoking, often unfriendly and grumpy, sometimes hurting, not always approachable - but filled with a big, soft heart - like you?
Chris: Probably Philine...
Ohhhh indeed... I saw so many today at a huge nursery while buying my summer plants.
Chris: The joy of these things is that they are not easily abused by lack of watering

Indeed...sharp, sharp stuff!
Chris: Hint - try not to sit on one whilst wearing nothing
Not a lot left to say after what has gone before

So Happy Saturday
Chris: I have been in the Cotswolds today and the sun NEVER WENT IN ONCE!

So it was a happy Saturday
They're gorgeous aren't they!
Chris: And different too Mary
Spiky things, ain't they?
Chris: I refer you to the sage advice I freely gave to R Storey

No, no, I didn't find the right words in the foreign language, excuse me!
Chris: Oh it appeared your thought process was pretty acute
Spiky beauty
Chris: Thank you Larry
What a great variety, no doubt there were even more than these on display.
