Did we go along this Canal starting in Bradford-on-Avon? I like your perspective very much -and a fine morning atmosphere!
Chris: Same canal Philine but this is in Bathampton looking east

This is a fabulous picture. Love the duck swimming and making the 'trail'. Wonderful POV. What a place to be in a Narrow Boat.
Chris: It's ok when it's like this on a deserted early morning Astrid but it can get rather busy in the tourist season

Oh very good. I like the wake from the duck. Did you watch the canal journey on the the K & A on BBC4 earlier in the week?
Chris: Indeed I did, it included this very part of the waterway at Bathampton
The duck is the star here Chris
Chris: That was the point of it all, making it famous
I love this shot, Chris. I like every single thing about it.
Chris: That is very kind of you Mary
A lovely shot Chris. I so enjoyed the K.& A.the other evening, if only we had more peaceful tele like that, not a single swearword or irritating background music, and beautiful England either side of the canal.
Chris: Indeed Brian - it had the lot didn't it
Somehow those ripples belong with the houseboats...
Chris: But they are not moving Larry
Will it manage the lock gates?
Chris: Maybe it'll fly over Tom..
A like it!

A deep political comment, Chris...there are some who would agree with you, but I feel they are in the minority.
