This is a splendidly pacifying landscape, Chris.

Very pleasing, too. Gentle Rolling English countryside; a few sheep would make the scene. Oh, and the knowledge that there's a teashop near by.
Chris: No teashops around here in the harsh rugged south, however there might be sheep lurking somewhere..

And soon- soon the green leaves will cover the view on this gently undulating English countryside. I like your photo very much.
Chris: This is just a piece of typical local countryside Philine, it has integrity and stands the test of being looked at very well
You have posted better pictures today on facebook. There seems to be a lot of purple fringing with this. Lightroom could remove this (along with 99.9% of all known germs )
Chris: I am considering paying the monthly fee for the latest examples of Photoshop and Lightroom. When we meet next week we will have to discuss this, not least because we'll never get a word in edgeways when those other two idiots get themselves into verbal overdrive - ie for 99% of the time

Chris: I am indeed Comrade
Do you ever fish, Chris? This reminds me of fishing for some reason.
Chris: Fishing is big around here Mary but I do not have the temperament for it
A peaceful scene, I seem to think there is a big trout fishery at Chew.
Chris: I think there is near the lake Martin
