Encouragement is a fine thing to witness, or participate in, Chris.
Chris: What finer thing in the world can there be than being cheered on by supportive women Ray..

I would rather support than run, Chris!
Chris: If you did run I'd cheer you on Lisl
Are those socks some sort of calf support Tiff, they must be tight not to fall down?
Chris: Could they be glued on Chad? in this modern age nothing whatever would surprise me..

The supporters are an important part of a winning team. My running days are over but I do support Miss Tripod Carrier on occasions as she pounds the streets. There are so many deserving causes - me being one of them.
Chris: I have supported many deserving women in my time: it has been a privilege to help..

O yes, there are so many institutions, activities, situations, occasions... .we should and could support! I like your photo depicting two ways to do that! The Hospice care is rather common here ...
Chris: Hospices are big business in the UK Philine

Good to see - so much more rewarding than running. I am a great supporter these days.
Chris: I haven't run for decades Mike..
This fellow is trying to stay far away from hospice.
Chris: Aren't we all..

interesting! Like the way you captured the ladies chatting and all. . .
Chris: Thank you NK, the picture was trying to show the difference in forms of participation
with such an audience, you run yr best, Chris
Chris: Of course you do: thank you JC
Very good shot Chris, to me the composition is excellent, a Judge would hate it.
Chris: Heavens - I wonder why the judge would think that way?? This is possibly why you find them so irritating Brian..
I know someone who works for Dorothy House. She used to manage the Acorns shop in Droitwich
Chris: All good causes
