This place looks like it has been tarted up and now attracts money, Chris.

I like the way you squeezed those boats in at bottom right.
Chris: It took a lot of effort & shove to squeeze 'em in Ray, but you know me..
Good composition Chris... i like the canal boats in the corner....petersmile
Chris: A bit of old harbour side Peter

All liooks very prim and proper; quite genteel. Very different I guess when this was a working area.
Chris: Totally different, now you'd need. Lorry load of cash to be able to afford to live there
It can only be Bristle Tiff, you seem to be spending a lot of time there, or are the images over time all from the same trip?
Chris: I go there every week Chad, I have learned to love the place

Gentrification takes over ... nice but lacking the character of narrow Victorian terrace streets now with plastic windows and each adorned with satellite dishes and wheelie bins on the front door step, and every available bit of road filled with parked cars.
Chris: Modern day Britain, in other words
this looks nothing like Stevenson's Treasure Island- Bristol. i know, i just think of that picture painted whenever i hear/read of Bristol.
Chris: Memorable eh Ayush!
Is this a mix of old and new that looks a bit like old Chris, if so it works quite well.
Chris: I did the new bit the other day
nice pic and moody skies. Plenty of character there!!
Chris: Sun and dark sky, difficult to go wrong Rob
It all looks very nice, fronting on to the waterway
Chris: Right near the centre of town too Martin

The doors sing against the leaden sky.
Chris: Yes they seem to, thank you Mike
That looks very much like new Bristol on the right!
Chris: Not brand new contemporary Bristol Tom
