I love photos of fog... and this is as lovely as any!
Chris: Thank you Elizabeth. It is fun to try & be creative with days that otherwise can just seem dreary

If it was mine, Chris, I might have had more foreground and less sky...which would probably have totally buggered up a really fine fogscape.
Chris: Indeed that version would work very well Ray

This photograph could make my Sunday (and I'm expecting another delight today) - many thanks, Chris! You are the most interesting photograph on SC!
Chris: Your praise has made me swoon with pleasure Philine..

The top half looks like a 'Chad sunday' picture ... I think Ray has a point.

I wish Suffolk had rolling countryside like this
Chris: I'll send you some..
I have just noticed Ray's comment while I was moving this up the screen to cut off about a third of the sky
Chris: I wanted this lowering unfriendly sky to dominate over the frozen land

[I've just knocked Philine off my Christmas card list. Ah.. no, I see her second comment; I have re-instated her smile ] It looks like some antique print I can just imagine you with a black cloth over your head.
Chris: I think Philine is a remarkably & perceptive human bean, she shows great wisdom in her pronouncements
how nice Chris!
Chris: Thank you kindly JC
Sets off well the fine tree shapes
Chris: Stark winter stuff Martin
No such thing as bad weather, Chris, as you proved here, very nice shot.
Chris: Thank you kindly Frank, I try not to let the weather put me off
The small part visible through the fog on the left is a delight.
Chris: Thank you kindly Mary
quite lovely. really sets the mood.
Chris: The UK in winter can be a bit like this Rob, I'm just trying to make the best of not very much here

Neither I ever got a Christmas card from Sir Alan - nor I myself ever send a Christmas card to him (I don't know his address in Scumsville). I like the word 'swoon' (never heard before).
Chris: Swoon is a good word if used correctly Philine

I haven't received a Christmas card from him either, he's usually on top of a freezing mountain at that time of year..
Lovely shot, Chris - could be a nineteenth century print!
Chris: Very kind Tom, thank you

A lovely picture Chris, I love the layered effect
Chris: Thank you kindly Anne, this is what is known as making something out of nothing I suppose..
A really good image Chris although I personally would have trimmed a bit off the sky, perhaps to just above that white streak in the dark area.
Chris: I take your point Brian, thank you
Good toning...
Chris: Thank you Larry
