What a view - but it is rather hazy, and the lake is surely a reservoir (man-made).
Some days ago I saw a wonderful ballet in our theatre called ""Descent" - the story of Orpheus and Eurydike in the Hades - the choreograph is a Briton- Thomas Noone.
Chris: Cheddar reservoir Philine, taken from above the Cheddar Gorge
I like how they have made the reservoir look so natural. Where is this Tiffo?
Chris: Cheddar: they are planning to build a second reservoir next to it sometime

I thought at first we were at the beach with a sweep of a bay but it is reservoir - Chew somethingorother? Why is there a blank strip on the right? Is this a bit like a mad House map where you fall off the edge of the sheet?
Chris: The blank strip to the right of Cheddar reservoir has been Sellotaped onto the picture as a mute homage to those who have to slave all day behind a desk, being asked stupid questions by pointless people, who are unable to get out into the fresh Mendip air..

Your picture reminds me that I haven't walked that path in many years, Chris
Chris: If you pick the right day the rewards can be worth the climb Lisl

Good view ... I don't agree with Billiam though. This circular reservoir looks far from natural
Chris: Man made Comrade
Isn't that quite a scene! I love the inclusion of the hikers.
Chris: They make the composition Mary
A great view to descend by Chris

Bill being sarcastic?

Is the white edge a Chadism?

Rather like the three sharp folk descending into blur.
Chris: An inadvertent Chadism..
