Doctor who mistook the telephone booth for a Police Box...it seems the Darleks might exterminate him!
Chris: He might be calling for a cab to get him outta there!
With a real telephony!!
Chris: It still exists - just
Ray stole my Doctor Who comment Chris... great in B&W street shot....petersmile
Chris: Thank you Peter: just a piece of Bath street life

I have not find out yet what the intention of Photography Phriday might be. I see that we are in England - for sure!
Chris: Fotography Phriday is when I post the pictures of which I am most proud Philine
At first I thought that was Alan and then realized otherwise. I didn't even know they still had such working booths!
Chris: Not many left now Ginnie: that's why I took the picture

Wow, a telephone booth and someone using it. I wonder why he does not have his own portable device Tiff.
Chris: He's probably mislaid it and is phoning his wife to say so Chad

Aha -thank for this information - the best photos you always display in the weekend IMHO (when only a few pigs are looking at SC).
Chris: I just put what I call fillers on the blog at the weekend Philine, pictures that have been easy to produce
At some stage he will realise
a the phone doesn't work
b what the smell is
Chris: Hahaha!

Good Lord; someone using a phone box - how quaint! He looks to be enjoying the conversation, though; perhaps he's heard they he will be spending a weekend enjoying the cultural delightsof Scumsville.
Chris: In which case he needs locking up!
I confess to not owning a cell phone. Most cannot believe it is possible but I manage fine. Perhaps not so well when there are no more telephone booths.

Good capture on the fellow's expression.
Chris: Thank you Mary: I declare you to be unique
The second bus stop pic on SC in the last day or two Chris. Suzanne did one as well. I shall have to visit my local bus stop and see what's going on. What does Philine mean "only a few pigs are looking at SC at the weekend"
Chris: Good idea Janet

No idea..
I hope Philine really means 'pics' ! Were that couple actually waiting for this guy to finish his call so they could get on the phone, that's how it was in the old times.
Chris: Yes indeed Brian - queues

This is what I like about old England - they still have working public telephones over there - and people are queuing up to use it.
Chris: It shows what an impoverished place this can be..

Amazing in these days of universal mobile phoning. I wish I'd had my camera (and the nerve) to take a picture of a couple of Chinese students in Lancaster taking each other's pictures pretending to use a phone box
Chris: Always take your camera with you Anne and (nearly) always be prepared to use it
Like two different worlds side by side... inside and out.
Chris: That was the idea Jacquelyn

It's good to talk as they used to say. I bet he has a wireless too!
Chris: Or maybe a radiogram
'Police please, I'm being followed by a suspicious man with a camera' Good capture Chris
Chris: I am obliged to you John
Very old fashioned to see a queue for the telephone!
Chris: The others weren't a queue Tom, just tourists looking around..
Yikes a phone box that actually works
Chris: Amazing eh!

Look, they still do exist! He had better hurry up, a line seems to be forming...
Chris: They exist but only just these days..
