This one has been well fed Chris...
it's surprising how many people in the street have a cell phone stuck to their ear....petersmile
Chris: A sign of the times we live in Peter..

What a surprise!

I just saw a likeness of you on Lisl's blog, Chris.
Chris: Err..some mistake surely!

Oh, a very attentive dog, I'm sure he can understand every word the ladies are chatting, and he has his own opinion about them.
Chris: And if he's got any sense, which I'm sure he has, he'll keep his opinions to himself too..
They are doing a fine job of blocking the pavement
Chris: Been practising for years..

I suspect he is well versed in this waiting game.

I seem to be blocked out of my account so I cannot reply to comments or add new photos so bear with ;o)
Chris: I suspect this is all part of daily routine for him

The dog seems to be admiring the bag and probably wondering how much longer it will have to stand there while these two talk for England.
Chris: No question about that..

The dog patiently waits for the chatter to cease Tiff. This looks even better in black and white, yes, I still get that phenomenon on my iPad.
Chris: That phenomenon is phenomenal Chad
I like these street scenes where you wonder what happens next. Who is going to move? My ex had a dog when we met. Whiskey was half German Shepherd and half Dachshund. He looked a lot like this fellow.
Chris: An odd combination Mary

Looks well looked after.
Chris: As so many do
"They take you 'walkies', then they hang around chatting all day!"
Chris: I think they call this a dog's life Tom
Uh-oh. The "Let's stop forever and have a chat" routine. To sit or stand. That is the question.
Chris: What a life eh Janet!
nice street life!
Chris: Thank you Ronky
It had long legs when the conversation started- poor thing.
Chris: What some pets have to endure...

The dog looks as if it is used to having conversation stops
Chris: I think this sort of thing is routine Anne..
I like this, the dog looks very patient standing there.
Chris: Well it wouldn't want to bite the hand that feeds it I suppose Brian

Comparing notes
Chris: Or experiences, maybe of making mens' life a misery..
Good feel to this, I like all the expressions, grouping and colour
Chris: I am obliged to you John: just trying to access that decisive moment..
I like how you've brought out the colors. Some dogs just look wrong with short legs- like someone chopped them off at the knees!
Chris: He is consigned to walk slowly all his life..
