A stunner, Chris...the walk must have been enjoyable, too?
Chris: Yes Ray - I walked all the way from my car to the nearest spot to take the picture, well over ten feet..
I fell I'm there... almost seeing the clouds float by... smile
What is the bridge in the middle?
Chris: That is the Severn Bridge Elizabeth, leading from England to Wales

What a beautiful view! A Bristolian bridge?
Chris: Noo Philine!

What you can see are the spans of the original Severn crossing leading from England to Wales.

Yes, just north of Bristol - we crossed it on our way to Wales!
Chris: There are two bridges these days Philine, the bridge you can see in this view is the original one dating from 1966

Is this 9 tog or a 14 tog? Either way, it's a grand view and I can see the original Severn Bridge. There be dragons beyond that.
Chris: More than dragons..
I love that puffy cloud trying to take center stage. I am guessing it might be August. Lovely shot.
Chris: Indeed so Mary - a late summer shot

The foreground trees frame and give depth and scale the the Severn Crossing and the Brecon Beacons beyond.
Chris: It's surprising just how far you can see on a clear day up there Mike
I like the bridge taking centre stage. A fabulous view Chris
Chris: Thank you Janet
Is that the original Severn Bridge?
Chris: It is indeed, circa 1966

Chris: Thank you kindly John

First find your hill..
A magnificent landscape Chris, I read that you had to go on quite a trek from your car to get this shot.
Chris: Several feel Brian
I suppose that's the Severn Bridge? Wonderful view - you got a good day for it!
Chris: It's the original bridge from 1966 Tom, taken on a nice clear summer day
