My kind of place, I can 'browse' here for many hours...
LOL @ Ray smile
Chris: We could go together and search for books on gutteridge for Chad, sausages for Bill and curvatious surfaces for Trimmy

We would not dare to look for book for R Storey of Merit Mansions, Bangkok!
By the looks of if from the comments, Chris, perhaps we should plan a SC meet-up there??? grin
Chris: Not really big enough Ginnie

Oh, he is living in his own world! I know such persons and such places. The antiquarian looks a bit like Lisl's dear husband.
Chris: This is my favourite sort of picture Philine: the interior and exterior worlds in one frame
If we ever stop doing our book sale I know where to take our stock
Chris: Oh yes - this place is a veritable goldmine

Apaprently some albums sleeves are now considered to be more vaulable than the record itself. I expect he knows exactly what is every box of books.
Chris: Yes - steal a book and he would know at once. Not that you would, of course..

I spent many a happy hour going through second hand records looking for bargains. I too see the John Martyn album sleeve - so much more satisfying than a cd.
Chris: It's the thrill of the chase, metaphorically speaking Mike

Nicely captured, not many places like this now, most second hand books seem to end up in charity shops.
Chris: Agreed John: this is the real genuine article - as I'm sure he is too..
Because of the black and white I can imagine this fellow's pants and shirt are red. Love this.
Chris: Thank you Mary
Plenty of food for thought there Chris
Chris: Nothing like a good bargain hunt is there Janet

I have walked into such places, the world over. I surprise myself when I walk into a second-hand bookshop in a country where I can't read or speak the language - and still stare at the books.
Chris: I know the feeling Louis..
Definitely a browsing shop but if everybody only browses then he wouldn't stay in business for long.
Chris: Quite so Brian
Looks as though there's plenty of scope for it!
Chris: Hours worth Tom

A great way to spend some time - I like the black and white treatment
Chris: Thank you Anne, this picture comes under the category of proper photography..

Chris: See you in the second hand bookstore JC!

Chris: Atmospheric isn't it Ayush
