The Lad with the glasses seems to be wanting to find a toilet, Chris.
Chris: Indeed so Ray but National Toilet Day has now come & gone for yet another year
That dog looks wary of you Chris...And apparently its party time at the hospital! smile
Chris: The hospital is for rheumatic diseases. As a child, to the great amusement of my mother, I read it as hospital for romantic diseases

Across the street is Party Time. I assume this man with dog does not want a pizza for lunch. I often wonder why Italians always want to lure people in their restaurants. What a job....
Chris: I often think it is in their genes to do this Astrid. My own genes compel me to do other things such as cook a fine ontbijt for the three of us. J, R and myself, which I am about to do right now..

Nah - that is a Christmas Carol song-sheet, and if you had waited you would have had a rendition from two fine tenors
Chris: Damn - I didn't realise!

I cannot believe that the boys are busy for the Pizza Express!
Chris: Definitely not!
This is that time of the day when they all stand outside and try to get the passersby to enter THEIR establishment...and not the one down the street! I wonder if they knew it would be part of their job description when they signed up?
Chris: I don't know Ginnie. Doing this sort of enticement is relatively unusual in the UK - hence the picture

The staff at McBurger Subway King FC have become smarter. Let's hope their typical clientele are doing the same and walking on by. One of the staff is probably think that meals on legs have arrived. Oh.. stuff that; it's party time.
Chris: These lads are standing outside a posh eating establishment, not a Scumsville All-You-Can-Stuff-Yourself-With-For-A-Fiver place..
This smacks of desperation
Chris: You have hit the screw firmly on the head

Unemployed graduates scraping a living by scraping punters off the pavement.
Chris: I think we will leave scraping things off the pavement out of this conversation Mr Trim!

About toilets. I think the dog spotted a possibility. The owner aware of what is about to happen, tries to convince the dog out of scoring move. The guy with the glasses is asking his compatriot "What must I watch out for?"
Chris: It's a whole lot of confusion Louis

The kind of behaviour usually associated with curry houses in Brick Lane - what is the world coming to?
Chris: Yes - Bath of all places!
That dog is looking straight at you and looks a bit nervous. Carry treats.
Chris: Good advice Mary
Looks like things are a bit quiet Chris. The dog wants to go in but it's a firm no
Chris: The dog might be hungry
Leta me get pasta please says the dog.
Chris: Or meat balls..

Their persona appears a bit dour Tiff.
Chris: They need to lighten up Chad
I've often seen one person with a menu trying to lure customers inside, Chris, but never two of them together. A bit of overkill.
Chris: Oh - there were three originally!
One step before mugging them and dragging them in smile
Chris: An effective way of getting custom
I guess in polite terms this would be called 'touting for customers'
Chris: Indeed it is just that Brian

What a thankless job
Chris: The bottom rung on the ladder one assumes Anne
good street shot Chris... if you get food poisoning at the restaurant you will know how to get to the hospital...

Chris: Thank you Peter

It would seem the man with the dog just does not want to play the waiting game
Chris: And who can blame him..

Chris: Neither do I!
