Love his sensible shoes, Chris...who knows when an errant brick might try to crush his toes, heh!
Chris: Or a steamroller might run over 'em..
I like this - so many stories could be gleaned from this shot...
Chris: Yes - I doubt if you could accurately guess the scenario Elizabeth, there are just too many possibilities

Great portrait and I love his shoes, they are half the job.
I bet the stories he can tell smile (some of the ladies at work complain about the job, the long being on the feet.... but they refuse to wear good shoes, I love my boots)
Chris: Sensible shoes show a sensible person Astrid
He has probably spent a lifetime honing his skills in saying no.
Chris: And there are so many ways of expressing this exciting emotion

Is he in charge of the crowd control barriers, controlling the crowds waiting to hear a speech from Ed Milliband?
Chris: Yes - he is having great difficulty holding them all back

The waiter to I suspect, but we shall never know. I like the red/white band on the barriers a welcome but minimal injection of colour. Just right.
Chris: Indeed - thank you Mike
Enjoying some spare time. I wonder what is written on his cap
Chris: Intriguing Janet
Watching and waiting...
Chris: Just for the right moment perhaps?
It doesn't really matter what he is looking at, we can all imagine a different scenario.
Chris: Quite right Brian: thank you
He does look well pleased with what ever he has spied
Chris: Yes he does look pleased
Whatever he's spotted out there, Chris, has certainly amused him. Nice shot!
