Haha - I like the lonely leg! Yesterday I read in the newspaper that umbrellas have become a symbol of revolutionary movement, used to shield protesters from tear gas and the elements like in Hongkong ... a fine observational image!
Chris: I use an umbrella (brolly) but am far from revolutionary Philine..
AHA. So there really IS life after the umbrella!
Chris: Not much Ginnie..

There seems to be someone with a leg sticking out which could trip up these rain sodden people Tiff. Imagine if health and safety saw that?
Chris: Best to saw it off perhaps Chad?

Don't tell me somebody died of the bad weather and they stuffed him into that doorway.
Love the two brollies.
Chris: Another wet Droitwich day Astrid. People often get rained to bits in this place..
Why do you keep going out in the rain?
Chris: To take these pictures, which speak a thousand words

There's something afoot here. Is the owner of the leg trying to trip people up and then steal their brollies?
Chris: That is quite possible. In Droitwich-style weather it is important to obtain as much brollyidge as possible

Big Issue...

Big Issue...

Big Issue...
Chris: The rain in Droitwich is a big issue Mike
"One more down," she says, as she looks around for other doubters, those who say it is always sunny in Droitwich.
Chris: Quite so Mary
Was it "penny for the guy", Chris?
Chris: I don't think so Pauline

That fellow is sticking his leg out to test the weather - what other people do with the hand. I hope he is taking into account that his foot is still under a roof.
Chris: He could have been fooled by that Louis
She doesn't seem too put out by stray legs lying about
Chris: Not at all Janet
Droitwich disease seems to be spreading, I spy another victimsmile
Chris: Quite so John, a modern plague

Theatre of the rainy absurd with that random leg's appearance
Chris: Glad you think so Anne
TRIP!!! I was in Bath a few weeks ago, such a beautiful city
Chris: Pity we didn't meet!
It has bee one of those up here today, the curse spreads
Chris: Just the same here today Martin
That must be a pretty lethal terrorist umbrella to have shot that guy in the doorway!
Chris: Or a Droitwich water pistol
I see a leg but no one attached. Droitwich is a strange place...
Chris: Don't go there Larry
