Oh, I thought King Artus were still present in Avalon! Did the inhabitants convert to the Buddhism? Or is Avalon a bit like Glastonbury full of esoterism and wellness-weltanschauung (a German word!)?
Chris: These images were all taken on a walk around Glastonbury Philine. As can be seen there is no religious continuity in a place such as this, although there are elements, amid all sorts of fantasy, of Bhuddism & Christianity
I have to confess I don't like Glastonbury much. Too many middle aged hippies stuck in a time warp
Chris: Glastonbury has a charm all of its own, it is both conventional and free-thinking at the same time. I love the place

We need to have moments in these places ... As long as the moments don't last too long
Chris: Chill out man!
the world of imaginary knows no bounds
Chris: Good isn't it
Those are some very interesting storefronts. I like the bottom left one that reminds me of long loaves of bread. I must ask Bill what is wrong with middle aged hippies.
Chris: He has a thing about hippies, middle aged or not..
A very fancy frontage on the bottom left Chris. Is that you in the window
Chris: It is me, I didn't notice Janet!

Taken is somewhere considered spiritual (so, not Scumsville then)? I like the window bottom left.
Chris: Glastonbury. That window has my devine reflection in it
Glastonbury does look a strange, but interesting, place.
Chris: It's wonderful!
Statuary everywhere...smile That Buddha looks friendly...
Chris: Oh yes Larry!
