but they can still have them inside the tea room Chris...
this is a nice shot of your two old friends....petersmile
Chris: Thank you kindly Peter, I thought they would not need any introduction
No? Por que mio amigo?
Chris: Summer if gone now Elizabeth and W J Phillips (no relation) is on a lettuce leaf only diet until next spring..
Why? You going to hibernate? smile
Chris: It's all right for you living out in the HEAT of Arizona but in the UK it's too cold to do this sort of thing outside any more this year..

Sad, Chris. But what about autumn ones?
Chris: Treats now consist of celebrating days without cold or rain..
The diet is serious now as the weight has been piling on again.

Mind you I am only on day 3!

The delights of Leominster
Chris: Yes - nice place to go in summer

I look forward to hearing positive reports of your new diet and seeing you as a form of stick insect later this month at Gutteridge Towers
Has Bill been colouring his hair again.
Chris: Pure vanity

Now there are seriously large tea cakes! I see that Bill has already used two portions of buuter whereas Chad is just on his first. Don't give up summer yet. I still have my shorts to hand although I must admit to have gone back to wearing shoes rather than sandals.
Chris: lease NEVER publish picture of yourself sporting shorts with shoes!!

Just look at us, I look serious and studious as I plan and execute the task of preparing the tea cake for spreadage, while Bill just can't contain his excitement.
Chris: Or his appetite..

Anyway - he's on a strict diet now, so when we see him in a couple of weeks we might think he's aught but a passing broomstick
Our weather has been marvelous so we are still enjoying beer on our decks after work but winter is approaching and we are soaking in all the sunshine we can.
Chris: And who could blame you, given the severity of what you might experience!

  • still here, now quite sunny

I hate those little packs of butter - there's never enough in them, it melts on the teacake straight away and I always have to ask for more. Looks like a very pleasant teatime gathering, though.
Chris: This was a hot summer's day out in Leominster Penny

Why? You run out of spendula? You should ask these two blokes, they may have a few bob about them.

No, no, it is not to buy beer and wurst, but to buy a plane ticket to Arizona. Or South Africa.
Chris: Why? Actually because summer is over Louis, and we are now in an orange thing called autumn
I hope that summer treats are still in vogue until at least next Wednesday in Devon at least. Those teacakes look nice. I seem to recall a short stop-off in Leominster on the way to somewhere else once, but goodness knows where.
Chris: It all becomes blurred after a while doesn't it Brian..
That's a conclusion I have reached too Chris
Chris: Sad isn't it Janet..

Loads of autumn ones though I'm sure Chris smile
Chris: Splendid Anne - let's be POSITIVE about it!
A blind comment. The picture goblin has stolen all the images, I can't see any at all on Shutterchance at the moment, strange!
Chris: Nobody can John, gremlins in the works I guess
Something strange happening to SC tonight - I can't see everyone's pics, only two or three!
Must be that time in-between snappingsmile
