English folks don't play tennis in Autumn, then...

[What ever will you English do when The Scots vote "yes" and reclaim their Andy!]
Chris: We will give up. Chad & I are in Scotland this week observing things, thank heaven for IPads!

erm....erm....erm... I don't know where to start. Well as a starter, love the light and the early autumn flowers and now I will make a very political wrong answer, maybe the Scottish people are right, the rest of the UK is behind in time....
Only if this picture was taken yesterday of course and otherwise, pfew... you scared me.
Chris: Thank you Astrid. This week Chad & myself are in Scotland talking to people & admiring the wonderful views
I love the light filtering through the tree!
Chris: Low sun is wonderful Elizabeth, we can do much much with it
It's my favorite time of the year, Chris! I'm eating it up.
Chris: I like it too Ginnie

Whilst Ginnie is chomping her way through your image Tiff, I am confused. I thought crocuses were an early Spring jobby, unless I am completely mistaken, which has happened once before.
Chris: You are mistaken Chad, crocuses bloom in either spring or autumn depending on their type

Phew - you did show the naked [Colchicum autumnale] -Herbstzeitlose!
We Germans are in sorrow considering the Scots and England and Europe!
Chris: Yes Philine these are more naked ladies. The Scots vote is interesting, seemingly neck & neck, and there is no real way at present of knowing the result - which makes it exciting!

Suzanne and I found some growing wild near Chedworth earlier this month - aren't they so pretty?
Autumn crocus? Very dappley sunlight
Chris: Good eh!

Round we go again - at least we are getting some decent weather to go with the seasonal change.
Chris: One of the best years we've had for a long time methinks..

Ah... now I've seen some of these this week, too. I've never seen these before this year. Were you on the way for a game of a tennis - perhaps with Bill, Chad and Mr T?
Chris: No I wasn't, I was off to downtown Bath to find victims

September is our month of spring. It gets warm and normally without rain. When it doesn't rain in October, it gets really hot. We had a jingle back when they started day/night cricket "Come on summer, come on" with view of people bbq'ing on the grass backs on a balmy night. Having a few beers, etc.

So, there is a chance the UK can become the UUK (un-united kingdom) smile
Chris: There is certainly a chance of that happening Louis
Scotland must be an interesting place to be at the moment, be sure to get back over the border before Friday next week.
Chris: Back tomorrow from the land of sunshine Brian

Its right around the corner for sure
Chris: Thank you Robbyne
Love the autumn crocus, Chris. Autumn is looking beautiful down here in the sunshine.
Chris: It is a beautiful but transitory thing Pauline
The autumn crocus is doing well in Sheffield's Botanical Gardens!
Chris: I am pleased to hear that Tom. Chad & I passed through on our way to the north on Monday and gave you a wave..
