Cripes! I'll wager that was a musical band!
Chris: It was incredibly NOISY Ray, I was alerted several streets away by the sheer exuberant racket!

I can imagine the noise or sound -Carnival in Bath, too? But the people are not dressed up in funny, crazy colourful dresses like in our country, in Cologne, Mainz, M√ľnster ...? And it is summer in Bath whereas we are celebrating carnival in wintertime - and the Bathian people are young, very young, so no wonder that I don't see you ... Oh sorry, I'm not very kind to you today! Here it is very wet, too, like in Droitwich!
Chris: They were practising Philine, hence no carnival clothing. I am not young

Heavy on the percussion side of things. Looks quite an impromptu carnival - how did they sound?
Chris: VERY loud!
I feel relieved there is no sound to accompany this picture
Chris: We are all very fortunate in that respect

I like the chassis of the multi-wheeled skateboard that two of them are holding. Did you join in the parade blowing your own trumpet?
Chris: I blow my own trumpet enough thank you. A few swift pics and I was gone..
The pedestrians don't look too impressed, was the noise that bad.
Chris: Very much so Martin

Everyone having fun Tiff.
Chris: Except those whos hearing has been destroyed by the cacophony Chad
None of them look very happy, Chris. Not a smile amongst them.
Chris: Carnival is a serious business Pauline
Never have I seen such cheerlessness in a carnival. I hope they took their happy pills before the main event.
Chris: This was just a practice Mary
I can't imagine them actually playing recognisable music with this motley assortment of noise making things.
Chris: Just loud percussion Brian - VERY LOUD!
Well it certainly takes all sortssmile Nice capture
Chris: It takes all sorts alright John, and it helps if you're deaf too!
