Superman's bicycle has a saggy chain.

The bunting is colourful, but lacks an imaginative touch, Chris.
Chris: Maybe they are economising on fun Ray..
i like most of what i can understand about this picture Chris... and i appreciate the parts that i don't....petersmile
Chris: Just a little corner of Oxford, a great & eccentric place Peter

a nice, little abode for persons like you and ... if life becomes too turbulent and crazy.
Chris: That is what I think too Philine
This looks like your sort of place
Chris: Endless fun eh!

Your Oxford pictures are often quirky - got any more?
Chris: A few: I was there a couple of days ago in the broiling heat..

This is a strange find Tiff, I remember when the boxes contained telephones.
Chris: You're 'avin' a larf Chad!

phone boxes have always been used for 'hanger' abouts
Chris: Thank you for your incisive contribution

I realise that the quirky phone box is your subject, but I am intrigued by the small window set into the wall below the elaborate window sill. Not to mention the cables rising out of the ground to be tacked to the sill before going through the window frame.

Shameless!!!
Chris: I had considered that perhaps to have been where an ATM once sat..
I'm intrigued by the coat in the phonebox. Had they run out of wardrobe space?
Chris: Your guess is as good as mine Pauline..
Well - Oxford was the home of one C.L. Dodgson smile
Chris: Indeed so Tom: this might be some sort of eccentric tribute
A smile for the city walker to be sure. Are there many telephone boxes used for art around the UK?
Chris: Not for art but many have been used as mini-libraries
Rather a nice little corner you found here Chris. Of course coming from near Cambridge I can firmly state that whilst they don't always win the Boat Race Cambridge no doubt wins the prize for largest number of bikes.
Chris: I have no doubt about that statistic Brian

I like the waistcoat hanging in the phone box; does it belong to Clark Kent, I wonder? Is that your bike?
Chris: It might be part of Clark's wardrobe: I am too old to ride a bike..
English eccentricity, still alive and well, Chris.
Chris: Don'tcha miss it Frank!

What a great combination of quirkiness Chris
Chris: And this is in the centre of one of our centres of learning excellence Anne
Outside changing room maybe?
Chris: I've no idea Scotia..
