Those ducks seem to have concluded that the visitor had nothing for them to chew, Chris.
Chris: That is correct Ray: I am too well bread to chuck bread at them. Instead I ate it myself
I love the ducks "wake"
Chris: Thank you Elizabeth - the fun of reflections eh

What a large lake -and I love the sun hole being reflected in the water and the lines the ducks are drawing there - a wonderful, peaceful morning atmosphere when the world is still in order! Chew Valley? - I have to ask uncle Goo.
Chris: Uncle G will tell you this is Chew Valley lake, constructed in the 1950s to allow Bristolians the luxury of drinking & bathing Philine

Oh very good! I'm not normally a fan of B&W landscapes but this seems to work. I like the patch of sunlight and the wake from the ducks.
Chris: A wee bit o' twiddleage was all it needed laddie.

Sunny here today

A fine shot of a local Reservoir, Chris
Chris: Thank you Lisl
good waters
Chris: Indeed so JC: thank you
A pleasing landscape Tiffo. A touch more black would help
Chris: Maybe - but I don't want people to think I aspire to be Blackdog Mk 2

Looks a perfectly acceptable twiddle to me. I did go for a walk around here some years ago but found it a bit dull - your photo lends an air of magic that I suspect is missing on a windy day.
Chris: I think so Mike. This was a snatched shot en route for the airport
What did you say to those ducks to make them scatter. Very nice shot with the glimpses of sun on the water. In the foreground the the sun is more than a glimpse.
Chris: They could see I had no sandwiches to share Mary..
Now you really have me curious as to why it's named CHEW Lake, Chris??!!
Chris: It is situated in the Chew valley, the vale of the river Chew Ginnie
You've captured some very nice light in this one, Chris. Really like the contrast. The ducks are an added bonus.
Chris: It seemed to work quite well Bev: thank you
Beautiful Chris... Mike (Blackdog) will love this!
Chris: Thank you kindly Ronky: I think he does

I really like this Chris, those Vs in the water made by the birds are wonderful
Chris: That is why I posted the picture Anne, I didn't appreciate them when I took it
They're heading for the sunset.
Chris: Cowboy films used to end like that..
