Does the rain fall as brine in Droitwich, Chris?
Chris: Yes it does Ray, if you stand still for too long in the street you are turned into a pillar of salt

I see it even rains in HDR....
... and now I wonder, does it only rains on Fridays??
Chris: It rains every day there Astrid. This picture isn't HDR, merely tonemapping hell..

Chris: I will only believe it when I see it Peter
That's quite a downfall!!! I like how you've captured the streaky rain drops!
Chris: This was heavy rain Elizabeth, I wish we could donate some to your parched part of the world
You could always stop in for a burrito and just wait?
Chris: Probably for several centuries..

The sad thing is you will never run out of rainy pictures, Chris
Chris: Never Lisl
Looks local to me, well the rain does smile
Chris: That is correct Scotia

The permanent rain has faded all the colours - but some twiddling can help.
Chris: There is a lot to be said for an energetic bout of twiddling Philine
There is a pub in Droitwich called the Pillar of salt. I see Bath is once again the location for the rain pictures
Chris: Stop nitpicking!

You could have had a Droitwich week this week - weather has been depressing!

Nice sprig of green lightens the mood though.
Chris: Taken near Kingsmead Square Mike

Appalling weather. I suppose as rain there is so commonplace it does not warrant special mention on the news -"Essential journeys only".
Chris: Essential journeys - like a bus ride to the rainwear emporium on the ringroad

I didn't know that Mercedes sells umbrellas, too- probably only in Droitwich's England!
Chris: If it's a German umbrella it'll be a good one Philine

for some reason this makes me think of a french street - maybe its the red white and blue! Lovely shot
Chris: Thank you Sarah: the joys of summer rains eh!
It is coming down like cats and dogs.
Chris: Or worse..
Beginning to be like Macondo, Chris
Chris: The streets are quieter JC

This is a Droitwich Friday with rather an optimistic feel. Surely the rain will be easing up soon....
Chris: Well this is a fine optimistic note you are striking Penny!

The rain in Spain
falls mainly on the plain ...
Chris: Well you know where it falls in the UK Louis..
You've made the place look attractive, even in the rain - what's up Doc? smile
Chris: Err..this is actually Bath but I am trying to invoke the spirit of Droitwich Spa

Cor just looks at that Tiff, it's chucking it down.
Chris: I am trying to find a word that adequately describes Droitwich's weather - and I have picked on FRIGHTFUL Chad
An apt time for the umbrella salesman to appear - this was heavy! The bright colours lift it somewhat smile
Chris: A bit of colour always helps..
