Nothing wrong with having dreams and 'flash-backs'.
Maybe one day this lady jumped around in that fancy 'cheerleader suit....(red-blue)
Great shot.
Chris: It looks as if she did just that thing Astrid

I have often wondered about photographing this shop,Chris -you have made it with the little lady eying up her fancy dress costume
Chris: Thank you Lisl: I think I might have featured it before somewhere down the line
Super image Cris, many thoughts come to mind as to the lady. Maybe just storage for her furry one food.

I think she has dismissed the idea of trying on the majorette uniform and seems to be focused now on the tin for food for the furry ones. She has yet to spot the rather large Subbuteo players. Looks like a shop to appeal to the loonies of Bath.
Chris: Yes - I really like this shop Alan!

This is all a bit strange to me - "sixes and sevens" and even your title? Surely a fun shop! Oh, I read "fancy dress" shop- yes, I thought of carnival as I saw the costume - what might the old lady think think or what remember?
Chris: This week I have a (rare) series Philine. Each picture is titled "If Only." All are different but a perfunctory perusal of each image will suggest why I have used this title

Very poignant Chris.

Have you seen the original Get Carter with Michael Caine? I used to live in a street in Newcastle just like the one in the film, and every Sunday morning there would be a girl marching band going up and down the street banging their drums.
Chris: That was one heck of a film Mike, I still remember the bleak ending on that ghastly beach..
love these places: she's making her choice...
Chris: Too much choice perhaps JC?

It looks like she bought the walking stick in this shop Tiff.
Chris: I didn't think of that scenario Chad!
Love this shot of the lady window shopping. I would love to stop in this shop. The masks hanging on the door would have a sale from me. Perhaps the superwoman suit too.
Chris: I can see you as Superwoman Mary..
Wistful thinking??????
Chris: Indeed Ginnie - if only..
love Chris.. bet there is a lot in there!
