Indeed they are/were, Chris.

34028 Eddystone does not seem to be working hard at Corfe Castle. [grin]
Chris: It is taking it easy in retirement, unlike myself..

Great POV Chris
Chris: Thank you Hollie, this was taken from the station footbridge
I doubt there are many steam locomotives here...sad
Chris: That is a pity Larry, many here were saved from scrapyards in the 1960s, including this one

Happiness is excitement that has found a settling down place. But there is always a little corner that keeps flapping around
Chris: You are dead right there Lisl
Memories great memories. I have been lucky enough to see many old hard working steam engines in my time. Great image Chris.
Chris: Thank you Scotia, this was taken at Corfe Castle on the Swanage line
.. Are here again, the skies above are clear again...
Chris: That is what I would say Elizabeth
Nice to see them rolling (luckily the numbers do not add to no. 9, it's an American superstition from the XIX c.)
Chris: I did not know about that JC

Ahhh.. Corfe Castle station, I believe. So this was this your treat for your foreign guest? I hope you was duly impressed. I think you have received lessons from Bill in the use/abuse of HDR.
Chris: Corfe Castle indeed, Ray & I went to Swanage for a series of "firsts" for him. Abuse of tone mapping isn't a first for me because I am an avid disciple of W J Phillips of Droitwich Under Water..
Don't you start with tone mapping.Must go here one day.
Chris: I will tone it down in future: blame Bill
A fine shot at Corfe, it is a beautiful little station. I'm assuming you took Ray to the Swanage, And I trust he enjoyed his visit with beauties like this about.
Chris: He certainly did enjoy it all Brian
great point of view and nice job with the subtle treatment
Chris: I'm glad to see at least one person thinks of this as subtle..
Takes me back!
Chris: And me too Tom - thank you

The steam has covered the train and the area around - a power woman of Locomotive. Fine that you did spoil Ray so much!
Chris: I asked Ray what he wanted to do Philine, and this was one of them
