Good perspective/reflections...I like the leading lines...and the leafy frame. Tells a good story.
Chris: Thank you Bonnie

I am laughing and praying at the same time.....wonder why wink
Yesterday was like that at us and we don't even live in Droitwich, I hope it is not catching and spreading out.
See you in a couple of hours, Big Bro smile
Chris: See you soon Astrid. It was like this yesterday too when Chad & I were in Bath
Well, to be truthful, we're finally getting some rain here, too, Chris...just before we fly away. I don't know about Droitwich but WE need it!
Chris: We definitely don't here Ginnie!
Like that here today smile been not to bad to be honest over the last few days. Have a good meet Chris. Look forward to some images.
Chris: I'm sure many people will post images of Sunday's proceedings Scotia

Yes, we (or better: our gardens and fields) enjoy the rainy weather - but according to the weather forecast the sun will be out on Sunday! In German we say to the children: If you have scraped your plate, the weather will be better- I hope you and the other stooges did and do that, too!
The rain photo is excellent! It looks like here!
Chris: Whenever it pours with rain I dash out to take pictures for my Friday series Philine

I have to confess that even the Lake District is touch damp this morning; the locals will be dancing in the streets to mark such a rare event. For the reasons mentioned by Bonnie, this is a good shot.
Chris: I expect the rare appearance of rain in Cumbria will make headlines in the local press today and be written about for years hence Alan
Showers forecast for today. It chucked it down yesterday evening! I am expecting torrential rain in Droitwich at about 9.00am on Sunday
Chris: The the usual then!

I think we said we'd be there at ten..
Bad weather for the weekend , I blame Bill.
Chris: So do I

It is certainly a Droitwich day here today Chris - rain bashing on the windows as I type sad

Looking forward to meeting you on Sunday smile
Chris: I am looking forward to meeting you too Anne, here in Bath it is sunny!
Looks to be hammering down..........I like the tall reflections of the couple and the overhanging umbrella tree..........let's hope Sunday's fine. I Look forward to meeting you, Chris smile
Chris: I think we might have some things in common Martin

We went to Cromer yesterday and it Droitwiched all day. Sounds like the country was under a blanket of rain yesterday.
Chris: Chad & I were in Bath Mike, it Droitwiched all day
great shot Chris - this looks like Soggysetshire!
Chris: It's the real thing Sarah! Are you coming on Sunday or is it too far for you to travel?
This is an excellent shot of the rain, Chris. The body language of the walkers say it all.
Chris: My own body language was not too dissimilar Mary
The two main figures in this wet picture seem to have left the house without their umbrellas, Chris. I guess some people actually embrace the idea of being drenched to the skin.

Here's hoping the sun will come out and shine on all the SC'ers who turn out for the meet-up.
Chris: The sun shines on the righteous Bev

So it'll probably rain..

Those 2 coming up didn't believe you about Droitwich and left their brolleys at home. Serves them well for not believing a supportive gentleman like yourself.
Chris: Quite so Louis: my purpose on this earth is to help people..
wow o wow.. i admire the bricks though
Chris: I'm glad you don't admire the rain Ronky..

I hope you don't bring this weather with you on Sunday
Chris: It only happens like this in Droitwich-Under-Water Paul
I love the way the tree frames the photo and the reflections in the puddles. Just looking at the photo I can feel the cold and rain.
Chris: I hope you agree with me that cold & rain together is a horrible thought Stacy..
I would have loved to have gone to meet everyone, but its my husbands birthday that day and i think it would be a bit unfair if i disappeared for the day. I shall look forward to seeing any photos and hearing all about it from those who go smile
Chris: Well I'm sure you will have as nice a time as we are going to Sarah - well I hope you do!
Oh my look at the bouncing raindrops. What a storm.
Chris: Horrid isn't it Pauline, which, of course, is the point of it all..
It's only a shower smile
Chris: On the Droitwich scale it amounts to virtually nothing Tom

Stoic, aren't these natives! I suppose it is that or move to a place that doesn't rain every day...
Chris: A place like Bath
