Chris: If he becomes slim & energetic he could out-pace all of us!

Missing Little Joe...
Chris: More likely missing a slap up meal of his favourite delicacies..
We'll love him just as he is!
Chris: Tell him how wonderful he is when you meet him Elizabeth

Bill always looks good to me, Chris
Chris: He's a natural babe-magnet Lisl..
A well placed bench where the same scene has been played many times. I wonder how many times in the past there was a race for this seat. Hopefully Bill was fully recharged very quickly and ready for another assault.
Chris: We managed to prise him off after an hour or two..

I,d be sat there right next to him.....i got a sweat on just looking at that path smile
Chris: Hahaha - it was a bit steep Shane!
He knows how important it is to stop and smell the roses! I don't do it enough, so maybe he'll inspire me to pay attention.
Chris: He could become your lifestyle guru Ginnie

Bill is looking up in wonder at the orb in the sky, a rare sight for him Tiff.
Chris: It is possible he may have never seen it before Chad. Naturally enough I don't want to cast aspersions on his hometown - but it always rains there!

I like Bill as he is - looking like a 'gemütlicher Bär' and I like his face full of surprise like a child! I think he is resting from a stressful climb up and now he is discovering a magic bird you never would see!
Chris: He looks more like a Mars Bar to me Philine..
Cream crackered was right. The diet is progressing but is under threat today as I am going to the black country museum and you know what they have there!
Chris: AARRGGHH - real fish & chips!!
It must of been a cold day and Bill was wearing extra padding ,After I have chased him round Cosford he will have lost a few pounds.
Chris: He needs regular strenuous exercise Mick

Hhahah!!! Is the near the top of the Somerset Everest? I have a "mountain" stage on my ride to work each day; pro riders may consider it be flat! So, it's all relative...

BTW: is there a planned start and meeting point for the Gathering on 11 May? You may not recognise me as I will be sun-bleached (or bronzed) from a scorching week in Cumbria.
Chris: No doubt you will be taking a vessel of Factor Fifty with you to the blazing furnace of the Lake District. I reckon noon for the 11th is about right
A well placed bench, can be a blessing! smile
Chris: Or, as in this case, a life saver..
Does that mean we will see less of him, that can only be a good thing....That didn't come out right....
Chris: Yes it did!

Pfui! You are not a very nice human bean! "Let me have men about me that are fat (in German translation a positive expression: wohlbeleibt);
Sleek-headed men, and such as sleep o' nights."
Chris: You want to be surrounded by fat men do you young lady? Please lie on this couch and we can talk further..
I think he is looking up to the heavens, reciting a few prayers and hoping against all hopes that the 'Bacon Buttie - 5' sign he saw does not mean five kilometers, but five meters.
Chris: You know him too well Mary..
hahah nice one Chris! The beautiful landscape makes this image perfect!
Chris: I should have left him out of the picture really..
poor old bench...
Chris: A lot of weight on it

You try and carry what he carries! Heh, poor man is knackered - probably praying for a pint.
Chris: I think you're right there Louis
I barely recognise this man from the slim and elegant person I met two years ago at the Black Country Museum, I presume he is on some sort of a reverse diet.
Chris: Precisely Brian, the Droitwich Eat-Everything diet
He is simply resting to admire the view...
Chris: I don't think so Larry..
I hope this was not the downhill trip, did you take oxygen?
Chris: We didn't John

I hope Bill thinks of a name-tag then, for I might not recognize him....
Is Bill asking help from above??
Chris: He doesn't believe there is anything above

except rain..
Will you be posting a "before" and "after" photo, Chris?
Chris: In my dreams Bev, today he has been eating fish & chips
