What a delightful view. There is nothing in this to say its not from the early days of the British Empire. Looks like a bullock cart has recently gone through the fords.
Chris: Err..that bullock cart was my Fiat 500
A very pleasing postcard Tiffo
Chris: Welcome to the harsh gritty world of HDR photography!

A fine example of lavender shadows complimenting the lemon yellows in the greens.

The red jacket is perfectly placed and makes everything sing.
Chris: I have to admit I waited until she got to the right place to complete the composition Mike
very nice touch of blur, Chris
Chris: Where would we be without blur JC?

This looks idyllic Chris - but what a strange name
Chris: There are a number of villages collectively called The Slaughters
A beautiful image Chris, we went to Lower Slaughter some years ago but didn't venture to its sister village.
Chris: It's all beautiful Brian, as you might imagine

Obviously the lady wanted to pull her shoes off and wade through the stream rather than taking the obvious route. Tell me I'm right Christopher.
Chris: You are right O Great One
Lovely picture Chris, I agree with Peter's comments.
Chris: Thank you Scotia
Pleasing view Chris
Chris: It's off the tourist trail John - very pleasing
