Nice chunk of wrought iron hovering over the lane, Chris.
Chris: I have know this place all my life Ray, in fact I remember being in my pushchair (not buggy) going down it - and that was over 30 years ago

Interesting gutteridge and wires, so many chimneys - and lovely wrought iron hovering over the line and lanterns - all very English! I see we are in Bath!
Chris: We are indeed Philine, Chad & I have known this place all our long lives

That looks like a serious sky there. I hope you did take your brolly. I love the chimneys.

I like the contrast with the grey Driotwich-type skies and the mellow stonework. Fine architecture.
Chris: I like the way you so knowingly describe the sky
Looks perfect at the moment.

I love the light on days like this.
Chris: A real contrast isn't it Lotta
Some good gutteridge too...
Chris: Hey - good observation Larry!
Impressive dark sky, this pesky mixed English weather is a bit of a shock to me after 10 perfect sunny days in mid France
Chris: Well I'm sure your batteries are now fully recharged and your French perfect Martin
Those lovely stone buildings really stand out well against that foreboding sky.
Chris: Yes they do: thank you Brian

Nothing like sunlit buildings against a leaden sky - well willow trees are the best, but you know what I mean.
Chris: Indeed I know what you mean: thank you Mike
Nice Contract Chris...It actually happened today!
Chris: Thank you kindly Ronke
Produces a great light on these occasions!
Chris: Just for a little while it does - thanks Tom
I love when the sun shines beside dark threatening skies!
Chris: The drama - eh Elizabeth!
this sisi & mary by the loft leaves me wondering Chris
