Looks like the white horse is resisting the urge to fly, Chris.
Chris: I can't blame it Ray: maybe like myself it prefers terra firma
Great set of pix here. > I'm so interested in the horse. Is it made of paint or white stones?
Chris: It is carved into a chalk hillside Jacquelyn

They chose a wonderful spot to fly and you chose a great location for walking.
Great set of pictures here.
A wonderful place.
Chris: Ahh - you recognise it Astrid! Yes it is a wonderful area for walking and getting marvellous views on clear days when you can see most of the way to Hollandshire..

a fine collection of photos from a sunny day - I hope the White Horse, too, will be lifting up a bit. The bench looks inviting.
Chris: I sat on that perfectly positioned bench to watch the aeronautics after I took these pictures Philine

No shortage of raving lunatics here then! Nice mini-series Chris. Top left if the strongest image although I do quite like bottom right with the group firmly seated on the bench.
Chris: To be absolutely honest Mike I took this little lot because I happened to be where they were flying these daft looking things on a sunny day. Not my normal subject matter or interest..
This always strikes me as a way of committing suicide
Chris: Absolutely - publicly, purposefully and picturesquely all at the same time..
Those are awesome captures, Chris. The bottom left one looks like the wings of your famous sculpture which I can't remember the name of at the moment.
Chris: You probably mean the Angel Of The North Mary

I've not seen a white horse paragliding before. I like the three people sat on the bench about to take off.
Chris: And they were never found afterwards..
Have they re-done the horse chris....looks new ......great collection of shots
Chris: They have re scoured it Shane
The top two images give scale to the white horse, Chris. For some reason I had imagined it to be larger than that.
Chris: The horse is further away than you think Bev
Like Bill and yourself I think anybody daft enough to do this for a hobby must want their head examined, still they gave you some good photos.
Chris: That is what it comes down to in the end Brian

... and you got to the top of the hill under your own steam.
Chris: And what is unusual about that for a YOUNG & FIT man??

Being a big scaredycat it is too dangerous for my idea of fun I'm afraid
Chris: Same here Anne but as a photographer it's interesting to do
Clear Blues here Chris..A beautiful landscape!
Chris: Thank you Ronke. Nice when the sun shines isn't it!
Looks like a good day for it!
Chris: I think this lot was taken last summer Tom
Great shot of a wonderful day out!
Chris: In good bright dry weather
