I think you have shown us this before, Chris.

No matter, though...it deserves a second look.

Not my favourite at street level, but it does look majestic in the sunlight. Shame about those flats in the foreground. They should have added some pedimenti!
Chris: You bet they should have. I don't remember them being built but I suppose even if I did my mind would have blanked the memory out
This is clearly a fake as it gives the impression that Bath is bathed in sunshine
Chris: That sunshine is 100% genuine, no fakery or Lightroom experimentations are allowed to interfere with reality in the Queen Of The West and its luvvely weather

Looks good in the sun. I'm enjoying another to see it. Sunny in Winchester today.
Chris: I think I am suffering from early dementia: I appear to have shown this picture previously..
I do remember this and my comment that said I could never live in a place like this. It is a fabulous shot because it shows how some people live.
Chris: Thank you Mary

Is this what proper houses looked liked before Lego
Chris: Before the proletariat came to rule Comrade..
The old rows of houses do look good, but why on earth were those characterless blocks of flats built in the middle of them, they just don't match!
Chris: That I'm afraid is the legacy of the prevailing mind-set in the 1970s Brian. I think they know better now

What a shame that modern architecture has to get into the picture
Chris: Dreadful isn't it Anne but I guess it won't outlive the classic stuff
The iconic view of Bath!
