A lovely place, Chris...who would have thought there was any of it left in Hampshire...
Chris: Seek and ye shall find O Sinner!
I love that wall!
Chris: All local materials Elizabeth

Hampshire is the fatherland of Alan, isn't it? Like Elizabeth I like the old wall -a cemetery? A fine countryside for walkers, bikers, and railway fans!
Chris: Indeed this is so Philine: alan lives in Southampton down on the Solent but this was taken up-country near Arlesford last year

Ah.. yes, happy memories. Strong's had their brewery in Romsey and I do remember these boards alongside the main railway line. This must be the Bournemouth Belle.
Chris: You are of course right in every aspect. The thought of Strongs of Romsey and the Bournemouth Belle evoke bliss for me
Hampshire is one of those counties you never go on holiday to and yet is actually very interesting
Chris: A beautiful county but much smaller than it used to be thanks to the re-organisations circa 1974

I have the honour of being a Hampshire Hog, Chris
Chris: Well that is a fine pedigree Lisl: one to be proud of

Interesting use of quatrefoils in that wall Tiff.
Chris: Wash your mouth out Chad: I'll have none of that language in my house!
A lovely vista for the memories Chris.
Chris: Tis a fine county Fred
I remember that billboard so well from the 1950's when we travelled to Southampton to be dumped on granny and grandad whilst mum and dad skived orf for a well earned break from their two 'ooligan children.
Chris: And who could possibly blame them!

Probably the county I know the least - I can't even recall having sampled Strong's, but I may well have done. Looks very attractive in your shot!
Chris: Hampshire is a lovely, smaller county than it used to be - try it sometime
A beautiful rolling landscape Chris!
Chris: Thank you Martin, this is a favourite part of the world for me
A churchyard wall perhaps? Pleasing view Chris
Chris: Yes John: it is a churchyard wall taken last autumn - but I can't remember the name of the place

seems that i have to take a trip to Hampshire so i can enjoy this scenic landscape in person
Chris: I don''t know what bus you catch from Norway Aksel!
Just how I like my beer - strong. A delightful scene in the above shot. This is southern England I take it.
Chris: Slap bang in the middle Mary
I wonder if Richard and I travelled on the same trains. Every year we went to Weymouth or that way and I remember seeing these signs by the lineside and my Dad would say we not far from where we going, thanks for the memory.
Chris: We used to go to Weymouth by train from Bath too
Strong barriers...
Chris: Very strong Larry
That's a nice little row of cottages.
Chris: Very pretty but probably horribly expensive Tom
I really like the patterns in the wall Chris!
Chris: They're typical of the county Richard: thank you
Can't beat a nice local ale. It's just the prices down there that tend to shock.
Chris: You are absolutely right there Martin - unfortunately
A well ventilated wall, with spares stored behind?
