If we lived in a flat town we might have made greater use of bicycles Tiff. The monstrous hill of Lansdown meant walking was the easier option. I ha e never considered this before, but your picture made me think about it.
Chris: When I used to visit my cousins in south Somerset everybody there used to use bicycles, whilst in hilly Bath they hardly existed at all
