A fine composition, Maestro!
Chris: I am obliged to you Ole Sport..
Beached wrecks, one of my favourite subjects. Good shot and treatment Chris.
Chris: This is on the eroding banks of the Severn Frank. These barges were deliberately beached to protect the Gloucester canal, to the left of the picture, from falling into the river..
Joli traitement, on dirait une photo anc.ienne
Chris: Thank you kindly Martine

Yes, it looks a bit dull - or sepia-like.
Chris: I wanted the waters to glisten Philine..

Apart from that hideous wind turbine thing, this could be a timeless image. I'm thinking of Daphne du Maurier when I look at this; it has that good of moody feel.
Chris: Thanks you Al. This is Purton on the river Severn, where the hulks were deliberately beached back in the 1960s to protect the Gloucester & Sharpness canal

I like the treatment you have afforded this Tiff.
Chris: I bought some sepia down at B&Q Chad. The rest is history..
I would have cloned out that wind turbine thing.
Chris: I was delighted to attest to its existence..
Très belle prise de vue , traitement de la photo très original
Chris: Thank you Claudine

This creates a sort of feeling of resignation mirroring my feelings about the horrors of brexit. I don’t agree with Alan’s thinking on Turbines they are no less ugly than electricity pylons, which no one moans about...and also turbines are creators of green energy.
Chris: I take your point Ole Thing

And Billiam wants to return coal burning power stations ...
Chris: In the olden days but not nowadays
I really like this picture Chris, although like Bill I would have cloned out the turbine, it's my camera club hat that makes me say that, then it would really look a timeless shot.
Chris: I didn't really want it to be timeless Brian
