I believe you, Chris... and what a great tribute it is for this fine horse.

I love to see a shire horse at work. I would NOT want one to stand on my foot!
Chris: If one did you might have to hop out of the way to protect your other foot

Carluccios did a massive scramble for growth, like Costa coffee Tiff. Now they are no longer something special and the founder has recently passed away.
Chris: And his establishment in Bath soon closed too Chad. This is the price we pay for transitory fame..

We have the Suffolk Cob in Suffolk. It is not quite as big as this beast ..But is a beautiful chestnut colour. I will post one at the weekend if I remember.
Chris: You will remember because you will load it at once..
Wonderful beasts and deserving of this tribute.
Chris: It must have cost a fortune to make this huge sculpture
They are certainly a great size!
Chris: Big and impressive

An even temperament - that is why this one managed to stand still for decades.

If there was an animal that brought my beer to me, I would also erect a statue for it.
Chris: In that case we shall erect a statue of yourself Louis, beer in hand..
A really powerful looking beast!
Chris: It certainly is that Martin
