a nice candid shot, Chris. the light is perhaps not the most ideal, in my opinion.
Chris: Indeed Ayush, I had to twiddle this half to death to bring it to life..
Richly presented - nice capture!
Chris: Thank you kindly Elizabeth
C'est très beau. Le monsieur n'est pas très intéressé par le spectacle.
Chris: He is meant to be guarding the treasures..
WOW, Chris. It looks like you got 3 of them in a row (unless the other two are just visitors?).
Chris: They are all there to oversee the place and stop the public from endangering the items on display Ginnie

Sssssshhhhhhhhh.... tiptoe close to him and than sneeze .... grin... I guarantee he will end up in that big bowl next to him.
The golden guy is tooting his horn and that does not even keep him awake.
Chris: He has had a hard day Astrid, I don't want to disturb his slumbers..

I have a feeling that the first guardian appears to have nodded off. You could have stuffed that gold statue up your jumper and sneaked out with it.
Chris: Yes I could. And it thereafter would look very smart in my hallway
Alert and ready to answer visitor's questions
Chris: He was born to do this

I am always grateful to these volunteers who gladly talk to one about the room you are visiting Tiff. I do t think I could last at such a task for boredom would soon set in. I would look for some mischief.
Chris: I'm afraid I'd be the same Chad

Me too....
Chris: Nononononono - not the Guardian newspaper!!
This guardian looks to be taking a snooze. I went to one NT house a while back where photography wasn't allowed in the house, the lady was quite perplexed when I asked if I could take a photo looking out of the window, in the end it was a useless image, loads of reflections on the glass from inside the room!
Chris: I think the NT are slackening their rules regarding photography
Hehehe........looks to be resting his eyes. Very rich surroundings Chris smile
Chris: Quite mad surroundings really Martin

He must be suffering of dry eyes. Compared to the other two, I think the chair is too inviting. Oh well, I always think a guarding job asks for special people and I am not one of them.
Chris: He has endless patience Louis

It doesn't look a very comfortable chair for a snooze.
Chris: I doubt if I could sleep on it, that's for sure..

Keep up , Chis...I was agreeing with Chad.
Chris: I shall now take to my bed and SULK!
A tale of two statues.
