My home is my narrowboat - a nice scene! The owner loves Tolkien's books.

It looks delightful in the spring evening air. A friend of mine has a narrow boat and he spends most of the summer cruising the waterways with it. It is all rather different from the Royal Fleet Auxiliary boats he used to captain.

this longboat looks ship shape for a season in the canals Chris... wonderful composition with the curve of the river....petersmile

Oh, to see green grass and the beginning so leaves. We are actually experiencing a blizzard but with very little snow - only 2 cm but it is sure blowing! Beautiful shot!
brings back memories of walking along such canals and the paths that the men who pulled the canal boats along
