Chris: You can't eat what you catch..
Magnets are ok if you cook them right....
Chris: Err...I didn't mean that Frank
Well, okee dokee!
Chris: Catching scrap iron from the river bed..
As you can imagine, Chris, this is a great hobby in Amsterdam along the canals. Actually, we see it also elsewhere here in the Netherlands while we're out-n-about. Someone is always looking for that one piece of antiquity. smile
Chris: Interesting Ginnie. I had never encountered this activity before..
Surprenante idée , mais si la pêche est bonne pourquoi pas ..
Chris: She extracted all sorts of strange things from the river..

Are fish full of iron and other goodness? If so, this sounds like a good way of catching them rather using a hook. Mind you, she could also bing up the occasional bike and supermarket trolley.
Chris: Oh I think she catches those latter sort of things already..

Hope she doesn’t hook a mortar bomb
Chris: Well these things do happen..
New activity to me too. I suppose it is cleaning up the water ways.

She seems to have caught a magnet. Magnificent.
Chris: Well, no...errr
she's struck the jackpot, Chris.
Chris: Yes indeed Ayush, she's caught a whole lot of iron..
I'd heard of this, but never seen it before!
Chris: For me it would be a whole lot more exciting that traditional fishing..
