I love this one, Chris. The back to back and green/blue colors make a wonderful composition.
Chris: That is very kind of you to say Beth

La robe verte est assortie au vert du paysage.
Chris: I think you are right about this Martine
I like this one, Chris, almost a mirror image, it has a slightly bizarre quality to it.
Chris: I know Frank.

Completely by accident..
Actually, I think surreal is more like it...
Chris: I'll go along with that..
This is great, Chris! The back to back women... to the reflections in the water... All very lovely!
Chris: A summer picture from an open garden day
This is a very kewl shot...
Chris: My favourite comment Larry
Back to back they faced each other?! smile (Is that one of your English expressions, Chris, like we say in America?)
Chris: I know what you mean but I'm not sure whether I've heard this expression before Ginnie

Great title Tiff, this looks a little posed.
Chris: You haven't mentioned the balancing feature of the enigmatic strolling man Chad

This is such a wonderful picture, Chris. The two ladies are well dressed, the trees, the reflections and in the back top right, the roofs of some houses. A nice place to be, I think.
Chris: You would have loved this place Astrid

Both ladies looking very posh. Is the lady looking at the pond wishing it was a swimming pool, I wonder?
Chris: No she was wishing I would propose to her. But I was too busy that day exercising an extensive rat-training regime
Belle prise de vue ..bravo pour l'idée
Chris: Thank you Claudine. I did not plan this, it just happened

The blue robe looks like a morning cloth - these are real English ladies, they prefer the flowery designs.
Chris: English women of a certain type Philine
contrast of fashions?
contrast of ages?
contrast of persaonalities?
Chris: Perhaps contrast of expectations..

You had a good accident here. Could be mother and daughter.
Chris: They could be but I don't think they were together Louis
What a lovely peaceful scene, Chris. I agree with Martine. The lady in green blends right in with her surroundings.
Chris: Yes indeed she does, thank you Bev
One fine day in the middle of the night
Two dead men got up to fight
Back to back they faced each other
Drew their swords and shot each other

For some reason that just popped into my head
Chris: Right..ok...
I really like this although the people through the gate in the background are an annoyance but as it was a grab shot there wasn't much you could do about that.
Chris: I wanted the main person in the distance to give this scale. If I was really serious I would have cloned out the second one
i love the back to back image of the ladies in their sunhats Chris....petersmile
Chris: Thank you kindly Peter

i quite like the light, summery fabrics, Chris. this is a nice spot, i like the lime colour tones on the leaves and the reflections.
Chris: They seem to match don't they
I thought initially that this was some kind of clever double exposure - now I see that it is a clever single exposure!
Chris: Indeed so Tom, two people
I like the green dress but the blue one looks like a dressing gown or robe, as we would say.
