Did you pose them? It looks odd...
Chris: They wish to draw me into their cult Larry

William Tell...seeking directions to the apple shop!
Chris: Gotta be..
Some interesting things going on....
Chris: An attempt at street conversion to become a Witness of Jehova in downtown Munich..
I tried to Google Mitnehmen, Chris, but couldn't get an English translation. But they DO remind me of Jehovah's Witnesses, in which case the gentleman hiker makes sense (trying to argue his way through it).
Chris: These people are as you describe Ginnie, trying to convert the un-initiated to their dubious cult in Munich

It makes a change for them to find someone interested enough to challenge things, Chris, but they don't seem very involved with him
Chris: They think he's a nutter - which he probably is - Lisl; they want to convert me..

"Engel, gibt es sie wirklich"..... I think the man saw some angels going up the mountain, everybody in the mountains will say "Grüß Gott" so that means he will be close to angels too (Grüß Gott= say hello to God)(Dutch joke, it means "God greets you)
The body language is very telling here especially the look on the lady in the middle....however I keep my opinion for myself.
Chris: I might be a fan of Jehova myself Astrid but I am certainly not one of this vile sect..

Le monsieur n'a pas l'air content.
Chris: He wishes to argue his point
Surprenante photo ...bien vu !
Bonne journée
Chris: Thank you Claudine

Oh, we are in Munich, ja, es gibt Engel wirklich, perhaps this Bavarian man with this feather on his hat? We are on the same page today.
Chris: Indeed Philine, we are on the same page today
The man in shorts seems to be telling that woman a few home truths
Chris: That's about the sum of it..
I am glad you quietly became converted, Chris. Don’ t feel embarrassed that they snared you so easily.
Chris: What on earth do you mean??!

I think the lady hiding behind the poster has a real job and bunked off for the day and does not want ice recognised. The lady in the red coat is pleased that she has avoided the world traveller. There is an English version of these chuggers near Scumsville's railway station most days.
Chris: Yes we have them in Bath too. Surprisingly no one ever seems to talk to them..

Mitnehmen was one of the earliest Berman words that I learnt Tiff. The stuff of food outlets.
Chris: Is that so Chad..

Ray’s comment is a gem.
Chris: He's a gem too Chad, a shaft of light in a dreary world
I think the woman holding the poster has the right idea.
Chris: Probably she has..

The little man with the brolly put a feather in his own cap. One can see he demands not only one of those pamphlets, he needs 10 of them to start his fire, when camping. Zum Mitnehmen - beim Engel; may come from the Rapturists, but I doubt that there will be a lot of them in Germany.
Chris: Better him than me up those mountains in winter Louis..
And there's me thinking Jehovah's Witnesses were confined to only the U.K.
Chris: World-wide I suspect Brian..

Someone seems to want to remain anonymous
Chris: And who can blame her in that dubious organisation..
Wot, no Marx!?
Chris: Not even Karl..
