Chris: I don't think they get better than this
To be honest, Chris, I absolutely hate war and wish it were never necessary, except in the most dire of circumstances (think Hitler and ISIS right now!). Will we ever evolve into a people who do not go to war for anything???
Chris: I doubt it Ginnie, we are designed to do these sorts of things - unfortunately

A fine symbol to those people probably not directly involved in the conflict. I like the lighting in this.
Chris: I am obliged to you
No real glory in such conflict just lasting sadness for many
Chris: That is what this is all about Martin
So tragic that these men were heartlessly hurled to their deaths by those in power Tiff.
Chris: Quite Chad but it was a different world then

People are a very strange species. After making sacrifices for freedom, we love to squander it.
Chris: All the time we do this Louis
I truly admire this memorial. It shows very well, the sadness of those left to mourn.
Chris: I was very taken by it Mary
This is as poignant as my posting today as far as I'm concerned, whoever made this must have had great sensitivity.
