The buildings are not horrible, but a bit sterile, to my eye, Chris.

Bristol is getting a bit of bad press at the moment...interesting how much more attention I pay to that region since visiting.
Chris: I am in the process of exploring Bristol Ray. I ignored it for over 60 years but am now taking it seriously. I shall be back at this exact spot later today to continue my mission.
I'm partial to the glass building at the end...
Chris: That is one of the better examples of new architecture hereabouts Elizabeth

True to their idea of colour, Chris
Chris: Wishy washy in my opinion Lisl
Bristol has developed enormously since I used to visit as a child. It is quite a high tech and financial hub these days Tiff.
Chris: The more I look around the more I like it Chad

I was fascinated by the modern and colourful Bristol architecture, seen from the floating harbour, rather from the disance - but now I'm not so impressed ... , to be honest - the vertical lines are too dominant, and I'm not sure if all the offices, shops ... are rented ...I sometimes saw the sign: to rent, to let, for sale ...
Chris: Everything here is speculative & new Philine: they are still looking for occupants in some buildings

The building blocks of future Modernity
Chris: You watch it mate, Halesworth might end up looking similar when the property developers give it all they've got!
Bland but there are far worse. I really ought to go to Bristol more. I used to be there quite a lot when I was still pretending to be working
Chris: You aught to - nice place

I wonder in the years to come such buildines with be held in the same reverance as we do presentlt for some of fine architecture? I see the CCTV camera in palce before anyone has even moved in.
Chris: Maybe one day there will be nostalgia over such places, probably after we've colonised Mars..
An empty new Bristol.
Chris: I'm sure in time it will fill with clones Mary..

Not exactly my taste, but a huge improvement on the buildings they imposed on us during the 60s & 70s.
Chris: Indeed so - we must never forget those dreadful days
Or anywhere else!
Chris: Could this be Sheffield Tom?
Not as nice as old....
Chris: And never will be..
and how are the residents taking this, Chris? a nice picture by the way
Chris: It would be interesting to know what the natives think Ayush..
Mike has the same sentiments as me, although I really do prefer not to see even ones like this.
Chris: I often wonder what sort of organisations will fill them..
